Material Girl.

Last night, my sissy and I attended a Bloggers Love event called 'Material Girl.' Different jewellery companies came to showcase their products for us in a gorgeous location with lots of goodies!

JeDeCo were the first jewellers I got talking to! They are a collective of twelve designers and growing who sell beautiful handcrafted jewellery and have their products in the midst of high profile events. One of their in-house designers AnnaLoucah, is one of the UK's first Fairtrade gold licence holders and has created jewellery for events such as the Golden Globes, the Oscars and Cannes Film Festival!!

You can find out more about JeDeCo here: http://www.jedeco.co.uk/

The second jewellery designer I spoke to was Kasun with his collection Kasun -London. The collection's theme was that of a fairytale with a strong influence from Vampires. He debuted two of his collections: God Loves Fangs and his second collection, Endless Beginnings. His pieces were stunning; he had fang-rings, a dagger heart necklace and a GORGEOUS claw collar necklace which when I'm rich, I will be buying!

Check out more of his collection here: http://www.kasun-london.co.uk/

Frida and Freya - a jewellery brand for everyone! They have a selection of both designer and high-street jewellery bursting with colorful statement pieces which will be a great asset to any woman's accessory closet!  My sister and I were given samples of the collection and we both love them so thank you so much Frida and Freya!

Award-winning designer Ros Miller also showcased her jewellery last night. Although I didn't get a chance to speak with her, I thought her collection was stunning. My favourite was the chunky asteroid ring- I literally wanted to buy it then and there. The ring is exactly what I would go for; I love chunky rings and the detail to me is superb.

The last stand I visited before it was time for the night-time showcase was Love Thy Accessories. A fusion of ethnic, trendy and all-things urban, a collection literally suited for everyone. My jewellery taste is more quirky than it is elegant yet Love Thy Accessories caters for both tastes. Two of their products stood out; a skull bracelet and a BOY earring. As soon as I picked up the BOY earring, I knew they had a hit on their hands.

I had a really great time getting to know some of the brands although there was one brand I didn't get to see before I left the venue called Faye Marie jewellery! From what I saw they had some amazing pieces! Check out their site here: http://fayemariejewellery.co.uk/

I had a really lovely evening, meet some lovely bloggers, lovely designers - all in all a great night :) Definitely looking forward to the Bloggers Love Fashion Week soon!!!

*Thanks to my sis for helping to take some pictures!
